Final day of classes

Today is the final day of classes and we have the farewell show tonight at 7. The students have been working very hard to finalize things for the farewell show! We hope to end up with a video copy of it at some point.

Thursday, everyone will be spending time with their families and packing their suitcases.

Early Friday, we load up the bus and head to Toledo. I am so excited for the kids to see Toledo. It is the city in Spain my grandparents always talked about when I was growing up. It is beautiful and full of history.

That evening we will head to Madrid to our dormitory and perhaps try to watch a movie and get a decent night's sleep for Saturday.

Saturday we go into Madrid. We will visit the Reina Sofia (modern art museum where Picasso's Guernica is housed) and the Prado (home of the Spanish masters). Then we will visit the Royal Palace and Madrid's famous Retiro Park. In the evening, we will order pizza and have our own farewell party at the dormitory

We leave very early for the airport on Sunday morning! See you Sunday!
